Enjoy a fisherman’s dream trip at cheaper mid-week rate! Stay at the Pine Crest while enjoying the serenity of fishing on a beautiful Northeast Kingdom lake. You can leave the crowded shores behind as you take the small motor (3 hp) john boat out into Lake Memphremagog to enjoy the true Northeast Kingdom fishing experience. This is not a guided trip, but Clyde River Recreation will supply you with all the safety equipment needed and the gas! But we do know a local fishing guide here at the Pine Crest that can steer you toward the best spots on the lake for catching Bass and freshwater Salmon. And don’t forget, before you go out for the day, to stop at the family owned Parson’s Corner Restaurant so you and your party can fill up on a free breakfast.
- A two night stay starting any day Sunday through Wednesday in one or more (depending on your party’s size) of our rustic cabins on the Barton River… which, by the way, has some of the best trout fishing in the area.
- A full or half day rental of a small, fully equipped, two person motor boat(s), a “john boat”, from Clyde River Recreation that will be waiting for you on the shores of Lake Memphremagog (about 15 minutes north in Newport).
- Free breakfast for you and your entire party at the family owned Parson’s Corner Restaurant in Barton Village.
