It’s every fly fisherman’s dream to wake up to the sound of the river running outside his cabin in Northern Vermont, eat a hearty breakfast, and spend the day on the river. Well, now that dream can be a reality with our “Vermont Fly Fishing Weekend”. This package includes a two night stay in one of the Pine Crest’s rustic cabins, free breakfast at the family owned Parson’s Corner Restaurant, and a day of fly fishing with our good friend Doug Swanson of Vermont Trout Outfitters. Doug has been fishing these waters since his hands could hold a pole, and one would be hard pressed to find someone who knows them better. He’ll come by the evening of your check in to meet you and maybe pass on a few pointers on technique, and then Saturday after breakfast (or take advantage of your free breakfast on Sunday to get a head start on the fishing Saturday morning) Doug will come by and meet you. From the Pine Crest you’ll follow Doug in your car, while he pulls the boat with his, to the point of launch… which is wherever the fish may be biting that day.
